Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | Typical hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with scheduling flexibility available.

About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing organization within the construction and specialty contracting industry, to identify a Compliance Manager. This position will serve as a key resource supporting project compliance, vendor qualification, insurance administration, and contract-related processes. The ideal candidate will have experience managing construction compliance requirements and ensuring project documentation remains current and accurate throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Description:

The Compliance Manager will oversee critical project compliance activities, ensuring subcontractors, vendors, and project documentation meet contractual and regulatory requirements before and during active projects. This role will collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to support operational efficiency and reduce project risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain contractor-controlled and owner-controlled insurance program requirements, including enrollment, documentation, and ongoing reporting.
  • Review and monitor insurance certificates to verify compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
  • Manage workers’ compensation documentation and serve as a liaison between insurance providers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead vendor qualification and onboarding activities, ensuring all required documentation is collected, reviewed, and maintained.
  • Track agreements throughout their lifecycle, including review, execution, renewals, amendments, and closeout activities.
  • Prepare and submit contractor prequalification packages through various industry compliance and qualification platforms.
  • Verify compliance documentation related to project billing, payment requests, and lien-related requirements.
  • Maintain records and reporting associated with supplier diversity, workforce participation, and project-specific inclusion initiatives.
  • Monitor business registrations, licensing requirements, and corporate compliance filings across applicable jurisdictions.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Safety, and other departments to support compliance objectives and process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen compliance workflows, documentation practices, and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience managing contract administration, compliance documentation, or project controls within a construction, industrial, or specialty contracting environment.
  • Working knowledge of certificate of insurance (COI) review and compliance monitoring.
  • Experience supporting OCIP and/or CCIP programs.
  • Background coordinating vendor onboarding and compliance tracking activities.
  • Familiarity with contractor prequalification systems and compliance management platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting building envelope, glazing, curtain wall, mechanical, electrical, or related construction trades.
  • Knowledge of supplier diversity, M/WBE, or workforce participation reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with pay application review processes and lien waiver documentation.
