The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country is seeking an organized, friendly, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our administrative team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our organization. If you're passionate about serving youth, enjoy working in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, and take pride in keeping things organized, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, members, families, and community partners in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership team.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and databases.
  • Assist with member registrations, data entry, and document processing.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with donor acknowledgments, mailings, and special events as needed.
  • Schedule meetings and maintain office calendars.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain confidentiality of member, donor, and employee information.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Operate standard office equipment including computers, printers, and telephones.
