The HVAC Drywall Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring drywall, patching, and painting in residential homes following HVAC installations, repairs, or service work. This position requires excellent craftsmanship, strong customer service skills, and the ability to ensure every job is completed with a high level of quality and professionalism. Candidates with carpentry, flooring, and home warranty experience are highly preferred.


Drywall Repair Technician Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform drywall repairs, patching, and finishing following HVAC service or installation work.
  • Prepare repaired surfaces and complete painting to match existing finishes whenever possible.
  • Inspect work areas and ensure repairs meet company quality standards.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment before, during, and after each job.
  • Accurately document completed work and communicate job status with management.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle and transport tools and materials to job sites.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and policies.

Drywall Repair Technician Required Qualifications:

  • Strong drywall repair and patching experience.
  • Basic knowledge of residential painting techniques.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of residential construction.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Drywall Repair Technician Preferred Qualifications:

  • Carpentry experience.
  • Flooring installation or repair experience.
  • Experience working with American Home Shield (AHS) warranty claims and AHS customers.
  • Previous experience supporting residential HVAC repair or installation projects.
  • Required Tools

Candidates must provide their own:

  • Ladders (up to 6 feet)
  • Hand tools
  • Power drills and equipment necessary for drywall repair and installation

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience (subject to Carmen's approval).
