Job Title: Teacher Assistant
Location: Sterling, VA
Position Type: Contract (45 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $18–$21/hour
Shift & Schedule:
Morning Shift
7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction and help create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and instructional support.
Provide individualized assistance to students as needed.
Help maintain a safe, organized, and supportive classroom environment.
Support students with classroom routines and learning activities.
Monitor student behavior and encourage positive interactions.
Assist with preparing instructional materials and classroom resources.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student development.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required.
Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and school staff.
