About the Role:
As a Pre School Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of teachers to provide a comprehensive and nurturing early childhood education experience. You will be expected to:
Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety
Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children
Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child's program
Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities
Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning
Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate
Requirements:
BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or a related field - Study Plan Eligible –
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead Teacher
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
