Pharmacy Technician – 2nd Shift
Location: Jeffersonville, IN | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $18.95/hr + $1.00 shift differential
• Monday 1:00pm–11:30pm; Tuesday–Friday 2:00pm–11:00pm; Saturday 12:00pm–8:30pm
• Employment Type: W-2
• Start Date: ASAP

ROLE IMPACT
The Pharmacy Technician supports licensed pharmacists in the accurate, safe, and compliant dispensing of prescription medications within a high-volume distribution environment. Success in this role is defined by precision, productivity, and strict adherence to pharmacy regulations and quality standards. This position directly impacts patient safety and operational efficiency by ensuring medications are prepared, labeled, and distributed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, measure, count, package, and label prescription medications in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
• Replenish medications in automated dispensing systems (automated cells), including opening and stocking large quantities of product.
• Ensure proper labeling, usage instructions, and documentation for all dispensed medications.
• Maintain organized, clean, and compliant dispensing and work areas.
• Support inventory control activities including stock rotation to prevent medication expiration.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, including HIPAA patient privacy regulations.
• Assist with accurate record-keeping and medication-related documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License (or active national pharmacy technician license)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail, hospital, or distribution setting

• Automated dispensing systems (automated cells)
• Pharmacy inventory management systems
• Electronic prescription processing systems
• Standard pharmacy counting and packaging equipment
