Picture your day starting just before sunrise. By 6:00 AM, you’ve completed a meticulous pre-trip, checked your chains and binders, and you’re easing a lowboy out of the yard with today’s first load headed for a local job site. No long-haul runs—home every evening.

What You’ll Do (A Day in the Life)

• Operate CDL-A combination vehicles and equipment trailers to move construction machinery locally.
• Load and unload graders, loaders, dump trucks, plows, hot shots, and other site equipment with care and precision.
• Secure every load using chains, binders, straps, and proper tie-down techniques.
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep transportation logs accurate and up to date.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies without compromise.
• Coordinate with dispatch and field crews to keep deliveries on schedule.
• Pitch in with equipment loading and site support as needed.

About the Work and Schedule

• Local routes only — NO OTR, home each night
• Shift: Monday–Friday, Day Shift, typically 6:00 AM start
• Pay: $28/hour to start

• Valid Class A CDL (no exemptions)
• Hands-on experience hauling heavy equipment
• Strong command of DOT rules and load securement procedures
• Comfort operating or assisting with equipment (e.g., loaders, graders, skid steers)
