Financial Manager


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Manager to oversee our organization’s financial operations and ensure the integrity and accuracy of our financial activities. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization’s mission by maintaining strong financial controls, supporting administrative functions, and collaborating across departments to promote efficiency and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, payroll, budgeting, and grant reporting

- Support audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

- Work closely with the Quality Assurance Director to verify accuracy and adherence to quality standards

- Provide support for Human Resources functions related to financial processes

- Coordinate and prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors

- Manage basic information technology systems and equipment related to financial operations

- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard organizational assets

- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets to ensure financial sustainability

- Collaborate with various departments to streamline administrative and financial workflows


Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's preferred

- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, grant reporting, and audit procedures

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills

- Ability to work collaboratively across departments

- Proficiency in financial software and basic IT systems

- Knowledge of internal controls and compliance standards

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred.


Minimum 3-5 years of progressively responsible financial management experience.


Nonprofit or governmental accounting experience preferred.
