Job Description
Laboratory Data Intake Coordinator

Location: Dripping Springs, TX (Trace Analytics – 15768 Hamilton Pool Rd., Austin, TX 78738)

Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM CST, on-site

A day in the life

When shipments start arriving at Trace Analytics, you’re the first to set the pace. You open and sort multiple daily packages, match contents to data sheets, and route each sample to the correct testing process. With accuracy as your north star, you turn source documents into clean, reliable records—entering both text and numerical data within time targets, validating details, fixing discrepancies, and confirming outputs. Throughout the day you generate reports, archive completed work to designated locations, and perform backups so nothing gets lost. Above all, you protect sensitive information and uphold confidentiality.

What you’ll do
  • Receive, open, and sort incoming shipments; compare contents to accompanying data sheets; prioritize and forward materials to the appropriate testing workflows.
  • Enter customer and account data from source documents with speed and precision, meeting established throughput goals.
  • Compile, verify, and organize information to prepare it for computer entry and downstream processing.
  • Review datasets for errors or inconsistencies; resolve incompatibilities when possible; validate outputs to ensure integrity.
  • Produce routine and ad-hoc reports; store completed records in assigned repositories; run backup operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
What you bring
  • Proven experience in data entry with trustworthy attention to detail and a comfort with hands-on, repetitive tasks alongside computer-based proofing.
  • Resourcefulness to adapt and solve problems when things don’t go as planned.
  • Pattern recognition skills and the ability to learn from trends in the data.
  • High computer literacy and proficiency in English.
  • High school diploma.
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Associate degree or higher is a plus, not required.
