About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team full-time in Ithaca, NY. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs, fostering inclusion, and helping each child reach their fullest potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with special needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and staff.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive practices.
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements.
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence.

Qualifications:

• Current New York certification in Special Education (Elementary level).
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Commitment to student success and inclusive education.
