Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Flower Mound & Lewisville (Onsite)
Pay Range: $18-22/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7AM-5PM Full-Time
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Position Overview:
A high‑risk obstetrics practice is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support a fast‑paced OBGYN environment. This role is ideal for someone experienced in women’s health, comfortable with EPIC, and able to manage a high patient volume while providing compassionate care.
This is a fully onsite role rotating between Flower Mound and Lewisville offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre‑charting and reviewing patient records in EPIC
- Identifying when patients require genetic or diabetic counseling
- Reviewing daily schedules and preparing patient flow
- Scheduling surgeries and placing hospital patients on the EPIC schedule
- Completing prior authorizations for surgeries and outbound referrals
- Performing NSTs
- Rooming patients and supporting high‑risk OB workflows
- Assisting one physician with procedures and patient flow
- Clinical documentation and charting in EPIC
- High‑volume phlebotomy (after contract period)
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification (candidate responsible for maintaining certification)
- EPIC experience required
- Blood draw / phlebotomy skills preferred
- Prior OBGYN or high‑risk OB experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment (35–40 patients/day)
- Strong customer service and compassionate patient interaction skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in OBGYN or maternal‑fetal medicine
- High‑volume phlebotomy experience
- Prior experience supporting a single physician’s workflow

- Fully onsite across two clinic locations
