Summary:

The Human resources Generalist manages a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, recruitment, and performance management.


Essential Functions:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a point of contact for employees and managers
  • Manage timecards and process bi-weekly payroll
  • Manage imputed wages for expatriates on visas
  • Administer employment-based immigration and global mobility programs, including H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, and other visa sponsorships, expatriate assignments, work authorization renewals, and immigration compliance while partnering with external legal counsel, government agencies, managers, and employees to ensure timely, accurate case management.
  • Audits payroll/process/edits for each period
  • Administer employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture and understand policies and procedures.
  • Oversee employee evaluation processes, provide guidance on performance management systems and facilitate regular feedback sessions
  • Manage benefits administration, including health plans, retirement programs, workers' compensation claims, and FMLA leave requests
  • Administer and support full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding)
  • Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain and update employee records, Paylocity data, and personnel files
  • Assist with performance management processes, including reviews and coaching support
  • Coordinate and support training and development initiatives
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide reporting to support decision-making
  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational changes
  • Participate in sustainability strategies that directly support specific SDGs
  • Work with all departments to embed sustainable practices into daily operations
  • Engage all employees to raise awareness and drive participation in sustainability efforts
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and a positive workplace culture
  • Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and documentation
  • Participating in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the company’s payroll system, Paylocity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality


Education/Experience

  • BS/BA degree in Human resources or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an HR Generalist.
