Cook Position

Location: Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehab, Reading, PA

Shift: Part-Time - 12p-8p & 16 hours bi-weekly

Fairlane Gardens Nursing and Rehab is a leading skilled nursing facility in Reading, PA, dedicated to providing high-quality care for our residents. We are currently seeking a Cook to join our team and play a vital role in preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents.

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and portion control guidelines.

• Coordinate food production to align with meal serving schedules.

• Memorize and execute menu items, including special diet orders and portion sizes.

• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

• Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety standards.

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• At least one (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar setting preferred.

• Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
