Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (school hours may vary by campus)

What You'll Do

As a Substitute Teacher, you'll help ensure students continue learning in a structured and positive environment while their regular teacher is away.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering instruction using teacher-provided lesson plans
  • Creating a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
  • Managing classroom behavior and encouraging student participation
  • Supervising students throughout the school day
  • Taking attendance and maintaining accurate classroom records
  • Communicating with school administrators and staff as needed
  • Following district policies and campus procedures
What We're Looking For
  • Must meet the substitute teacher eligibility requirements of the assigned school district (minimum 60 Credit hours)
  • Previous experience working with children, tutoring, coaching, or in an educational setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments
  • Professional, dependable, and punctual with a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow lesson plans, school policies, and district procedures
  • Ability to successfully complete all required background checks and district onboarding requirements
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned school campuses
  • Ability to remain standing, walking, and actively supervising students throughout the school day
  • Passion for supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment
