Direct Care Professional SummaryThe clients we serve are seeking a Direct Care Professional to help assist with day-to-day goals and life skills. Experience in caregiving, education, or working with individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability is preferred.Direct Care Professional Duties and Responsibilities* Assist Individuals as they develop and maintain skills to improve their daily-living and social skills. Assist your client in reaching their goals.* Engage in activities with Individuals to live more independently within the community and/or be more productive and participatory in community life. * Maintain annual 24 hour state mandated training requirements.Direct Care Professional Requirements and Qualifications* High school diploma or GED certificate* Comply with state mandated policies, standards, and regulations* Complete given background checks * Valid Driver's License and existing insurance* Willing and able to drive individuals in personal car throughout the community
