Position Summary
The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across core subject areas, fostering a positive classroom culture, and supporting students as they prepare for the transition into middle school.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
  • Create and implement standards-aligned lesson plans and assessments.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families.
  • Utilize data and assessments to drive instructional decisions.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into daily instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, leadership, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Participate in professional development activities and school events.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Florida Teaching Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
  • Passion for student achievement and educational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching upper elementary grades (4th and/or 5th grade).
  • Knowledge of Florida state standards and assessment practices.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and data-driven teaching.
  • Familiarity with educational technology platforms.
