Housekeeping/Laundry Aide - PRN

Heritage Hall is currently seeking a PRN Housekeeping/Laundry Aide at our Wise, VA facility!

Job Description

The Housekeeping/Laundry Aide performs a variety of laundry functions in order to provide clean linens and clothing for the residents. They pick up dirty laundry and deliver clean linens and clothing to residents. They separate, wash, dry, and fold all cleaned clothing and linens. They are also responsible for maintaining the proper functioning of the laundry equipment. They also perform a variety of housekeeping functions in order to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and employees. They clean floors and resident rooms; empty trashcans; and maintain all housekeeping equipment.

Position Requirements

• Must have one (1) year of housekeeping/environmental services experience
• Must have one (1) year of experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital setting
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform some heavy lifting
