Job Description:
A well-regarded research nonprofit in Washington, DC is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This individual will play an active role in supporting marketing campaigns, conducting research, and translating data into actionable insights — all within a fast-paced, mission-focused setting. The right candidate is self-directed, organized, and enthusiastic about contributing to purposeful work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and maintain social media campaigns and assist with event logistics and coordination
- Provide administrative support across the marketing function, including calendar management and CRM data entry and maintenance
- Research industry trends, audience behaviors, and emerging opportunities to inform marketing strategy
- Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns aimed at building brand visibility and supporting revenue goals
- Compile reports, build out presentations, and create visual summaries of data for internal stakeholders
- Assess marketing performance through data analysis, including evaluating market position and identifying areas for growth
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in a marketing role, with exposure to campaign management, social media, and event coordination
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with particular strength in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Well-organized with strong time management instincts and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who brings reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to their work
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred, though not required
Additional Details:
This is a fully onsite contract role in Washington, DC, estimated at 3–4 months in duration. Candidates should be local and available to work a standard Monday–Friday schedule.
