Position Overview
ProStar Staffing is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for an immediate opening in Waukegan, IL. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Job Details

- Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour
- Shift Hours: 9:50 AM – 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and apply shipping labels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and carrier software.
- Process daily shipments going out via UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight providers.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and paperwork.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and customer service expectations.
Qualifications
- Bilingual skills are required (English/Spanish preferred).
- Previous warehouse, shipping, logistics, or 3PL experience preferred.
- Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate shipping software.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently or with a team.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required.
