Become our Mobile Service Tech and take your career to new heights!YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR MOBILE SERVICE TECHYou'll work from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with some weekends and evenings as needed. You'll travel around in a company service van, going to customers' sites and parts pickup locations, and performing exceptional repairs on lift equipment. Following all safety and operational procedures, you'll repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to get the equipment in peak operating order. Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):Performing customer-approved repairs and planned maintenance on lift equipmentMaintaining your work vehicle and parts inventoryServicing equipment according to the customer's concerns and your own observationsTesting equipment to check repairsPreparing and submitting inventory reports and work service reportsFollowing the PM checklist, checking safety decals, and ensuring the availability of safety and operational manualsAssisting with other functions as neededREQUIREMENTSWhat You Need18+ years of ageHigh school degree (or equivalent) or a technical degree in a trade like automotive3+ years of related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experienceValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl throughout the shift with minimal opportunities to sitAbility to lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move 100+ poundsAbility to work in wet, humid, cold, and hot conditionsExperience servicing automotive or industrial equipmentWelding, diesel, and gas engine experienceWhat Would Be Nice To HaveAble to think critically and solve problems independentlyAble to accurately follow written and verbal instructionsAble to use computers and electronic devices for document submissionAble to remain cool and calm during tense situationsStrong organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlinesProfessional customer service mentalityPositive and friendly collaborative spiritWE HOPE YOU'LL JOIN USLift, Inc. is built on the strength of its people.
