Compensation: $24.72/hour

What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and assess needs to determine appropriate support or escalation
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including mobility, personal hygiene, and comfort care
- Turn, reposition, and assist bedridden patients per care plans and safety guidelines
- Support nutritional needs by following dietary restrictions, food allergies, and resident preferences
- Gather and communicate relevant information regarding patient condition, treatment plans, and recommended activities
- Measure, monitor, and accurately record food and fluid intake
- Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respirations, as directed
- Observe patients for changes in condition or signs requiring medical attention and report findings to nursing staff
- Communicate patients concerns, complaints, or symptoms clearly and promptly to nurses
- Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors professionally, providing directions and support as needed
- Introduce yourself to patients, families, and visitors to promote comfort and trust
- Identify and report safety hazards to ensure a safe care environment
- Replenish supplies and maintain organized patient care areas
- Adhere to all infection control practices, including proper hand hygiene, standard precautions, and isolation protocols
What We’re Looking For
- Wyoming State Certified Nursing Assistant
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and processes.
- Has and maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to take after-hours calls, work nights, weekends, pick up shifts, and flexibility in scheduling, due to patient care needs.
- Willing to cross-train and support staffing needs across departments, including picking up shifts in long-term care
Physical Requirements and Conditions
- Positions requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry.
- Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.
