Chief Financial Officer

A leading distribution and logistics platform that supports high-volume, time-sensitive delivery across a national network.

This organization operates at the center of complex supply chains, ensuring products move efficiently from suppliers to end customers across multiple channels. They are seeking a CFO to lead the finance function and partner closely with executive leadership to drive operational performance, scalability, and long-term growth.

CFO Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team on growth, pricing, and operational strategy
• Provide financial insight into network expansion, customer profitability, and service line performance
• Support long-term planning, capital allocation, and potential strategic transactions

• Drive visibility into key cost drivers including transportation, warehousing, labor, and fulfillment
• Analyze profitability across customers, routes, and distribution channels
• Implement pricing and margin improvement strategies in a high-volume environment
• Partner closely with operations to improve efficiency across the network

• Oversee all aspects of accounting, FP&A, treasury, and reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple sites
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards that provide real-time insight into business performance

• Strengthen financial systems, reporting capabilities, and internal controls
• Build scalable processes to support continued growth and operational complexity
• Lead ERP enhancements or system implementations as needed

• Build and lead a high-performing finance organization
• Establish structure, accountability, and best practices across the function
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams

CFO Qualifications:

• 12 - 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles
• Prior experience as CFO, VP Finance, or Divisional Finance Leader within distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments
• Strong understanding of high-volume, multi-site operations and cost-to-serve models
• Experience analyzing margins across transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment
• Background in complex, service-driven businesses with tight delivery windows and operational dependencies
• Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments preferred
• CPA or MBA is a plus
