You review the sketch and blueprint, strip the mold, clean and inspect components, correct a worn feature, and have it reassembled for the next production window. Along the way, you document a quality idea and align with the Tooling Manager on priorities. That’s a typical win in this role.

How you’ll contribute

• Read and interpret tool drawings, blueprints, and sketches to guide precision work.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, and assemble molds, fixtures, and machine tools to keep production on schedule.
• Operate all tool room equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform tooling-related functions as directed by the Tooling Manager.
• Keep a clean, organized workspace and maintain equipment readiness.
• Complete all required company quality training.
• Share quality improvement ideas and champion continuous improvement.
• Help reduce mold maintenance downtime by 3% compared to the previous measurement while enhancing tooling performance.
