Savard Personnel Group is seeking a Shop Hand in Scott, LA. This is a temp opportunity for a dependable, hardworking individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to learn, takes direction well, and is willing to assist wherever needed in the shop.
Key Requirements:
- Previous fabrication shop experience required
- Prepare structural steel for painting and apply industrial coatings using an airless paint sprayer. Previous airless paint sprayer experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided
- Experience using grinders, drills, hand tools, and power tools
- Must know how to read a tape measure
- Must be willing to learn and take direction
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Shifts:
- Monday - Sunday
- 6:30 AM start time
- Overtime and Weekends required
- Average of 40 - 80 hours weekly
Duration:
- Temp through September
