Hybrid 2-3 onsite in Charlotte, NC
Our client seeks a Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile teams delivering complex initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups. The role partners with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, team members, vendors, and leadership to define, implement, and improve Agile processes. The successful candidate applies a practical Agile mindset and tailors frameworks to business needs while maintaining delivery focus.

Rate: $65.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:- Ensure Agile teams are functional, productive, and shielded from unnecessary disruptions.
- Provide servant leadership and model Agile values, principles, and behaviors.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments to maintain progress.
- Monitor team health and performance using metrics such as velocity, burn-down, and cycle time.
- Mentor team members and promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Support backlog management with Product Owners to ensure clarity and prioritization.
- Lead estimation activities and ensure realistic delivery commitments.
- Maintain and track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items through resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement by managing retrospective outcomes and improvement backlogs.
- Prepare and share sprint-level reporting on commitments, outcomes, and progress.
- 4–6+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience.
- 1–4+ years applying project management concepts and practices.
- Experience with multiple Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships at various organizational levels.
- Proven success leading multiple concurrent projects within cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Practical Agile mindset with ability to tailor frameworks to business needs.
- Prior project management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience managing large-scale project budgets and supporting financial planning.
- Experience working with external vendors or third-party partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
