Butterfly Home Care of Manassas is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to support aging adults and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout Prince William County.

About the RoleAs a Caregiver with Butterfly Home Care of Manassas, you will provide one-on-one support in an individual’s home and community. Your role will be based on each person’s needs, preferences, routines, abilities, and personal goals.
Caregivers may provide companionship, assist with personal care and daily living activities, prepare meals, complete light household tasks, provide medication reminders, and support individuals with errands, appointments, transportation, and community activities.
We are looking for team members who are reliable, patient, respectful, and professional. The ideal caregiver understands that person-centered care is not about doing everything for someone. It is about listening, honoring individual choices, encouraging independence, and providing the right level of support.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include:
Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
Preparing and serving meals based on individual preferences and dietary needs
Completing light housekeeping and laundry
Providing non-medical medication reminders
Assisting with grocery shopping, errands, and appointments
Providing transportation to approved activities and appointments
Supporting participation in community activities
Encouraging independence and the development of daily living skills
Following the individual’s care plan, service plan, and safety instructions
Documenting services accurately and promptly
Communicating changes, concerns, or incidents to the supervisory team
Completing other approved care-related duties based on the individual’s needs
Personal Care Aide certification preferred, but not required.
Previous caregiving, personal care, direct support, or home care experience preferred
Experience supporting seniors or individuals with disabilities is a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Current automobile insurance may be required for transportation assignments
Authorization to work in the United States required
Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings
Ability to complete required orientation and training
Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependability, patience, kindness, and professionalism
Respect for individual choice, privacy, dignity, and cultural differences

Expected pay range of $14–$20 per hour, depending on the assignment, qualifications, experience, and level of care

Care is provided one-on-one in the individual’s home and community. Assignments are located throughout Manassas, Manassas Park, and Prince William County, Virginia.
ScheduleFull-time, part-time, weekday, evening, overnight, and weekend opportunities may be available based on current client needs.
