Must Haves:

• Minimum 1 -3 years of experience in Plastic injection/molds
• High level machine operator role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accurate and efficient mold set-ups and start-ups to maintain high level machine output and utilization.
• This position also participates in packing, shrink wrapping, and assembly activities.
• Understands or has the ability to understand the documented run parameters for new or existing department molds/materials.
• Possesses technical skills and experience and/or the aptitude to learn and apply the skills necessary for efficient processing and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Understands or has the ability to understand the documented run parameters for new or existing department molds/materials.
• Possesses technical skills and experience and/or the aptitude to learn and apply the skills necessary for efficient processing and troubleshooting.
• Minimum 1 -3 years of experience in Plastic injection/molds.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accurate and efficient mold set-ups and start-ups to maintain high level machine output and utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs all Set-Up Tech I responsibilities.
• Monitors mechanical systems for proper operations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves processing problems as they arise.
• Monitors scrap and makes necessary process changes to meet department KPI's.
• Executes and monitors plans and activities based on schedule of priorities.
• Coordinates activities with various departments to achieve goals and objectives.
• Accurately completes daily system transactions within AS400 and Mattec systems.
• Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
• Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
• Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
• Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
• Understands department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.
