Cooler Loader PM

Joliet Staffing is hiring a Cooler Loader for a leading food distribution center in Minooka, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for loading refrigerated products onto outbound trailers, ensuring orders are accurate, secure, and ready for shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a refrigerated environment.

Location: Minooka, IL

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Essential Responsibilities

• Load refrigerated food products onto outbound trucks according to shipping schedules.
• Verify product quantities and ensure orders are accurate before loading.
• Safely stack and secure pallets to prevent product damage during transportation.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Inspect products for quality and report any damaged or incorrect items.
• Follow proper loading procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with warehouse and shipping teams to meet daily production goals.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, loading, shipping, or distribution experience is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated (cooler) environment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in a refrigerated environment while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Perform repetitive movements, including bending, reaching, and twisting.
