Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Scheduler
Job Description
Trip Coordination: Process incoming transportation requests from patients, nursing homes, and medical brokers.
Route Optimization: Assign vehicles and map efficient routes to ensure on-time pick-ups and drop-offs.
Dispatch & Fleet Management: Communicate in real-time with drivers to monitor progress, handle delays, and reassign trips as needed.
Compliance & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, billing documentation, and meet regulatory or Medicaid broker standards.

Customer Service: Handle rider inquiries, address complaints, and ensure an accommodating, safe passenger experience.
Experience: 1+ year in healthcare logistics, dispatch, or high-volume transportation scheduling required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS navigation applications, and Microsoft Office.
Soft Skills: Ability to multitask under pressure, strong geographical knowledge of the local area, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Experience: 1+ year in healthcare logistics, dispatch, or high-volume transportation scheduling required.
High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in logistics or business preferred).
Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
Familiarity with ADA requirements and Medicaid broker portals preferred.
Must be a licensed driver.
