Order Assembly and Kitting Technician

You clock in, grab the packing list, and pull up the assembly drawing. With those in hand, you gather the parts, confirm everything against the parts list, and begin building the order. You check each connection for proper fit, secure subassemblies, and package the completed unit so it’s ready to ship.

Along the way, you follow documented work instructions and procedures, keep a sharp eye on quality, and immediately let the Team Leader know if you spot an issue with materials, equipment, or process. You help a coworker master a task when needed, keep your station safe and tidy, and take on additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager.

• Interpret packing lists, assembly drawings, and parts lists to assemble and package customer orders.
• Verify fits and connections; fasten parts and subassemblies to complete builds.
• Report any quality, process, equipment, or material concerns to the Team Leader.
• Provide hands-on training to coworkers when requested.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in line with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager.

• Manual dexterity and strong visual acuity for precise assembly work.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Comfort standing for extended periods.
