Position Purpose:
Responsible for managing the skin program for the facility.
Essential Functions of the Position:
· Ensure all residents are assessed weekly to evaluate the condition of their skin; identify risks and develop appropriate interventions and required documentation.
· Measure all skin areas weekly and document.
· Initiate and update all care plan information regarding skin.
· Perform skin and related treatments on all residents as assigned.
· Monitor and adjust equipment use per facility protocol and resident need
· Follow skin protocol of facility and F314.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
