Project Manager - Heavy Civil

Ready to run big, complicated, high visibility heavy civil projects and actually get to lead the people doing them? This is a Senior Project Manager role for someone who wants ownership over $25M+ projects from bid to closeout, not just a seat at the table.

You'll be the person clients call first, the one field staff look to for direction, and the one leadership trusts to keep budgets, schedules, and safety on track without being micromanaged.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading assigned projects with full accountability for safety, schedule, quality, and profitability
• Reviewing and approving estimates, proposals, budgets, schedules, and contract documents
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients and building relationships that lead to repeat business
• Mentoring Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff
• Managing subcontractor and vendor performance
• Owning project risk management, cost controls, and forecasting
• Making sure everything stays compliant with company standards, contracts, and safety regulations
• Working with leadership and estimating on new business pursuits
• Representing the company at client meetings and industry events

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• 7 to 10+ years of progressive project management experience in heavy civil, underground utilities, or site development
• A track record managing large scale projects, $25M+
• Real leadership experience, not just a title, you've mentored and grown teams
• A history of clients wanting to work with you again
• Strong communication and problem solving skills, especially under pressure
• Comfort with MS Office, Bluebeam, and PM/estimating software like HCSS Heavy Bid
• Flexibility to travel and work across different project locations as needed
