Dietary Aide - Part Time

Job Description:
The Dietary Aide provides assistance in all dietary functions. They assist in food preparation and the serving of meals; and are involved in the cleanup of the kitchen and serving areas. There is potential for the role to become Full-Time once the employee has been established.

Part-Time from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm and 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm, shift varies

Note: This position requires you work weekends.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior food service experience is preferred
• Prior experience as a Dietary Aide preferred
• Prior healthcare experience is preferred
• Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions
• Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures
• Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary services in a long-term care facility
• Ability to operate food service equipment safely and properly
