Job Description
Position Title: Receptionist (Temporary)
Location: Northwest Austin, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20.00 / Hour
Position Type: Temporary (2-3 Month Assignment)
Start Date: ASAP

Our client, a well-established professional services organization in Northwest Austin, is seeking a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused Receptionist to support their busy office through a temporary assignment. This individual will serve as the face of the office, ensuring visitors, employees, and vendors receive exceptional service while helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and maintain a welcoming front desk environment
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Receive, sort, and distribute deliveries and mail
- Maintain coffee bars, breakroom areas, and office common spaces
- Order office and breakroom supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Coordinate food orders and setup for meetings, lunch-and-learns, and office events
- Assist with meeting preparation and event setup/cleanup
- Print, scan, bind, and proofread documents as needed
- Perform data entry and general administrative support
- Prepare expense reports and maintain records
- Assist with office service requests and vendor coordination
- Support fleet vehicle record maintenance
- Help with various office projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of receptionist, administrative assistant, or office support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, positive, and service-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong sense of urgency and willingness to assist wherever needed
