Industrial Mixing and Blending Specialist

Based in Des Moines, IA, this role centers on crafting reliable, high-performing formulations through disciplined mixing and blending practices. You’ll be a key player on a cross-functional team, ensuring each batch meets exacting standards.

• Prepare, measure, and combine raw materials per defined formulations and SOPs.
• Run quality checks to verify product consistency and compliance with specifications.
• Record batch data, component lots, and process conditions with precision.
• Partner with R&D to pilot new formulas and enhance current products.
• Keep the production area clean, organized, and ready for the next run.
• Comply with all safety rules and applicable regulations during operations.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting production issues as they arise.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or certifications are advantageous.
• Proven background in formulation, mixing, or blending in a manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail; consistently follows step-by-step instructions.
• Foundational understanding of chemical properties and safety practices.
• Strong communicator and collaborative team member.
• Able to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willing and able to work varied shifts, including overtime as needed.
