Imagine Staffing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Training Coordinator to support a residency and fellowship training program within a prestigious academic medical institution. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys coordinating complex schedules, supporting medical education programs, and working collaboratively with physicians, faculty, and trainees.
The Medical Training Coordinator serves as a key liaison throughout the residency and fellowship lifecycle—from applicant recruitment and interview coordination to onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing program administration.
Role & Responsibility:

- Coordinate and provide administrative support for residency and fellowship training programs.
- Maintain accurate program records, databases, and reporting tools.
- Screen residency and fellowship applications to ensure all required documentation is complete and applicants meet program qualifications.
- Coordinate applicant interviews by scheduling candidates, faculty interviewers, meeting rooms, and catering arrangements.
- Compile faculty evaluations and applicant information for selection committee meetings and record meeting minutes as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for matched applicants throughout the onboarding and credentialing process.
- Collect and monitor credentialing documentation to ensure compliance with institutional deadlines.
- Coordinate communication between incoming trainees and various Johns Hopkins administrative departments.
- Prepare informational resources to help new residents and fellows transition into the institution and surrounding community.
- Assist with planning and coordinating orientation activities and social events for trainees.
- Prepare and maintain resident and fellow rotation schedules.
- Process scheduling changes and communicate updates to faculty, departments, and trainees.
- Monitor trainee work hours to ensure compliance with program and accreditation requirements and notify leadership of potential issues.
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports to support program leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality of applicant, trainee, and institutional information.
- Perform additional administrative and program support duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative or office experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare environment.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and scheduling experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Two years of college coursework.
- Experience supporting graduate medical education, residency, fellowship, or academic programs.
- Experience coordinating interviews, credentialing, or educational programs.
Required Skills
