Laundry Aide

Job Summary:

Rock River Nursing & Rehab is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PRN Laundry Aide to join our team! As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by ensuring that linens, clothing, and other textiles are properly washed, dried, and issued to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Wash, dry, and fold laundry according to facility guidelines and protocols

  • Inspect and clean laundry equipment, including washing machines and dryers

  • Sort and prioritize laundry to ensure timely completion of tasks

  • Deliver clean linens and clothing to residents and staff members

  • Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including sorting and storing of laundry supplies

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient laundry operations

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in a laundry or healthcare setting preferred
