SCALE is a data-driven analytics platform integrating procurement, logistics, and forecast operations to enable predictive and prescriptive decision-making for the Department of War. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient supply chain processes, tracking and confirming material deliveries, and optimizing storage and distribution to meet operational goals. This individual may also help drive mission success in support of other customers.The Logistician will be a primary point of contact between the customer and the supplier base while keeping customers and Davidson senior leaders informed of performance, risk, and opportunities.Job Responsibilities:Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and process improvementsCoordinate with procurement and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of goodsMaintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standardsAct as the main liaison with suppliers, communicating requirements and expediting deliveriesReport key supply‑chain metrics, risk assessments, and improvement ideas to senior stakeholdersMonitor supplier performance, conduct corrective‑action follow‑up, and drive continuous‑improvement initiativesDevelop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levelsJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).1-3 years of related experienceCustomer focus and collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentDesired Competencies:Experience working with international shipping and customs complianceExperience working with Air Force customersAdvanced Excel and data analysis capabilitiesClearance:Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance (not required to start)
