Bilingual Spanish and English Caregiver Needed
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional bilingual (Spanish/English) caregiver to provide high-quality, person-centered care to a client in their home. The ideal candidate is fluent in both Spanish and English, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to promoting the client's comfort, safety, and independence.
Responsibilities
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed.
Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
Remind clients to take medications as directed (no medication administration unless authorized).
Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the care team.
Communicate effectively with the client, family members, and agency staff in both Spanish and English.
Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
Qualifications
Fluent in both Spanish and English (required).
Previous caregiving experience preferred.
HHA, CNA, or PCA certification preferred (if applicable).
Reliable, compassionate, patient, and professional.
Ability to work independently and follow a care plan.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
