Location: Essington, PA - Onsite 5 days a week
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $67,000 - $72,000 / Annually

Position Overview:
An Addison Group client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST to join their team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing high-volume transactions, intercompany accounting, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform invoice matching and ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place
- Manage manual payment processing and ensure accurate matching of payments
- Handle bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Allocate and split costs appropriately across intercompany transactions, ensuring proper coding and company alignment
- Maintain and track expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Work with multiple bank accounts on a daily basis, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate reporting
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Experience working in a mid-sized company environment preferred
- Background in logistics, distribution, or supply chain industries is a plus
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of invoice matching, reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience managing multiple bank accounts and high transaction volumes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and ability to work independently
