Role Summary

Our client, a leading home healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide clinical oversight and support patient care operations within a home health and assisted living environment. This role combines direct nursing care, care coordination, and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing professional seeking a part-time leadership role with a strong focus on patient care, clinical coordination, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document patients’ physical, psychosocial, and educational needs while providing preventative, supportive, and restorative nursing care
  • Administer and document prescribed medications and clinical treatments according to established care plans and physician orders
  • Coordinate patient appointments, therapies, and multidisciplinary care activities to support continuity of care
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate significant changes to the Director of Nursing and appropriate healthcare providers
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to patients, families, and care teams
  • Ensure compliance with infection control procedures, standard precautions, HIPAA regulations, and healthcare safety standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, clinical records, and required reports
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Support daily nursing operations and collaborate with leadership to improve care delivery
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of New Jersey
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional RN experience, preferably in community health, home health, or a similar care setting
  • Experience providing nursing services in a patient home environment, including assisted living settings
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively in a patient-focused environment
  • Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance coverage
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous nursing leadership, supervisory, or care coordination experience
  • Experience working with home health patients and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Familiarity with quality improvement and regulatory compliance standards
