Part-Time Caregiver for Individuals with Disabilities
Schedule: Approximately 3 hours per shift, 2 days per week (about 6 hours per week)
A Bright Future, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Community Living Instructor (CLI) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Hayward and surrounding areas. The position may also require travel to San Ramon as needed.
This is a very part-time position ideal for someone looking to supplement their income while making a meaningful impact.
Position OverviewAs a CLI, you will provide direct support and teach independent living skills in the participant's home and community. Your goal is to promote independence, safety, and confidence through personalized care and encouragement.
Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one support in the home and community
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and daily routines
- Support community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
- Promote independence, communication, and social skills
- Monitor participant health and safety and report concerns
- Complete required documentation and follow agency policies
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Drug screening
- DOJ fingerprint clearance
- Negative TB test
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to supporting individuals with disabilities
No experience required. Paid training is provided before working independently.
Compensation$16.90 per hour
