Little Big Thinkers Learning Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Assistant Teacher to support our childcare team in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. Little Big Thinkers has over 10 years of experience providing excellence and quality in the course of providing childcare and education.

Harvis, Inc. has partnered with Little Big Thinkers Learning Center to fill the role of an Assistant Teacher.

At Harvis, Inc. we work to support business owners, their managers, and Human Resource 'departments of one' giving them a trusted HR Partner to whom they can delegate HR responsibilities."

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson plans.

* Supervise children during play, meals, rest time, and outdoor activities.

* Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

* Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.

* Prepare educational materials and set up learning activities.

* Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate interactions.

* Assist with daily routines, including toileting, diapering, and handwashing as needed.

* Communicate effectively with coworkers and parents.

* Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and the Center's policies.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required.

* Early Childhood Education coursework or experience preferred.

* Previous experience working with young children is preferred.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Patient, dependable, and caring attitude.

* Ability to work a flexible schedule.

* CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

* Successful completion of background checks and required clearances.
