Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop opportunities to deepen relationships with existing clients in person, by phone, and email communication.
- Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
- Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.
- Develop and present quotes to prospective clients and educate them on coverages and rates.
- Negotiate best coverage/rate options for clients and bind insurance coverage.
- Call prospective clients to establish/build relationships that become profitable for the agency.
- Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure personal sales targets are achieved.
- Participate in formal and informal staff meetings as needed.
- Maintain your Property & Casualty license, including your continuing education requirements
- Hold a SC Property & Casualty insurance license along with two years minimum account management experience.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, coverages, underwriting procedures, and industry operations to effectively secure new business and maintain existing client base.
- Have a proven track record of sales success in a goal-based environment.
- Possess strong verbal communication skills excelling in presentation, persuasion, negotiation and ability to close sales.
- Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a competitive environment.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.
