PACKAGING/TOLLING LINE WORKER
Monday - Thursday
4:30 am - 2:30 pm
$15.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the production area.
- Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions.
- Open containers using hand tools.
- Load and unload materials from pallets, boxes, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Assemble cartons and package finished products.
- Apply stretch wrap, tape, bracing, or other packaging materials to secure products for shipment.
- Transport materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
- Count, weigh, label, and document materials and finished products.
- Collect product samples and deliver them to the laboratory for testing.
- Perform basic equipment adjustments, such as realigning stretch wrap.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by cleaning equipment and production spaces.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- Bale plastic, corrugated, and poly bags as directed by the supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to safely lift 20 to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and safe material handling practices.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other production equipment.
