We are seeking an experienced Water Truck Driver for one of our local clients. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a water truck to support construction sites Las Vegas area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a water truck to transport and distribute water to job sites, as needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
- Monitor and maintain the water tank levels and pump system
- Communicate with project managers and site supervisors to coordinate water delivery schedules
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to the operation of heavy equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience operating a water truck
- Ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces and on uneven terrain
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Familiarity with Nevada Department of Transportation regulations
Working Conditions:
This is a Temporary position that will require working outdoors in various weather conditions. The work schedule may include long hours, weekends, and on-call availability to meet project demands. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb in and out of the truck, and operate the vehicle's controls for extended periods.
