Account Manager
Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager
General Purpose
Manage rental (lease) accounts to ensure on-time payments, handle deliveries and service calls, has thorough knowledge of merchandise, and maintain strong customer relationships. Communicate regularly with customers and team members while handling non-renewed accounts quickly and professionally.
Essential Duties
Account Management
%CF; Maintain accounts on your assigned route within company non-renewed standards.
%CF; Handle non-renewed accounts quickly and follow company procedures for recovery.
%CF; Keep accurate records of customer accounts, payments, and merchandise.
%CF; Support company Standards of Operation at all times.
Deliveries, Service & Retrieval
%CF; Deliver, relocate, service, and retrieve rented merchandise.
%CF; Make minor repairs when needed; arrange major repairs through the service department.
%CF; Ensure items, models, and serial numbers match rental agreements before delivery.
%CF; Protect all inventory and customer products during transport.
%CF; Return all accessories (remotes, manuals, etc.) to store stock when merchandise is returned.
%CF; Refurbish returned items promptly and prepare them for resale.
Collections & Payments
%CF; Collect payments during deliveries and home visits.
%CF; Safeguard collected money while in the field.
Customer Service & Communication
%CF; Answer calls by the third ring in a friendly, professional manner.
%CF; Resolve customer issues quickly and respectfully.
%CF; Follow the Premier Rental Purchase Pledge to provide excellent service.
%CF; Communicate regularly with customers, coworkers, and management.
Vehicle & Equipment Care
%CF; Maintain assigned vehicle’s appearance and working condition.
%CF; Keep the back room clean and organized.
%CF; Use a hand truck and blankets safely when moving merchandise.
Store Support
%CF; Assist with receiving new merchandise.
%CF; Help take and verify customer orders when needed.
%CF; Support customer and revenue growth goals.
%CF; Assist with store cleaning and help the team meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Requirements
%CF; High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
%CF; Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
%CF; DOT certification (if required in your state).
%CF; One year of customer-service-related experience and completion of training.
%CF; Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Required Skills
%CF; Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
%CF; Ability to read, write, and perform basic math quickly and accurately.
%CF; Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
%CF; Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
%CF; Ability to handle customer situations professionally.
