We are immediately seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler!
Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift within a manufacturing facility
- Move, organize, and stage raw materials and finished products
- Supply production areas with the materials needed to maintain operations
- Verify material quantities, measurements, labels, and documentation for accuracy
- Complete basic calculations involving measurements and fractions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Take initiative and assist with additional material-handling duties as needed
Qualifications of the Material Handler:
- 13 years of sit-down forklift experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong basic math and measurement skills, including fractions
- Must be available for required overtime on Fridays from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM
