Role Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support its Orthopaedic service line. This role focuses on delivering high-quality musculoskeletal care across outpatient and procedural settings, working closely with orthopaedic surgeons and a collaborative clinical team. The position plays a key role in improving patient mobility, recovery outcomes, and overall quality of life.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Perform clinical procedures such as joint injections, splinting, and casting
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, recovery processes, injury prevention, and long-term health management
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
  • Active state licensure and national certification as an NP or PA
  • Eligibility for or active DEA license
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in orthopaedics or a related specialty
  • Experience with fracture care and musculoskeletal imaging
  • Familiarity with procedural-based care in outpatient or surgical settings

Compensation & Work Model
  • Salary: $115,000 – $135,000 annually
  • Work Model: Onsite / Clinical setting
