- Perform cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, operating rooms, corridors, restrooms, and other hospital areas according to established protocols

- Ensure all surfaces, equipment, and fixtures are sanitized to prevent the spread of infections

- Properly handle and dispose of waste, including biohazard materials, in compliance with safety regulations

- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or shortages

- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately at all times

- Assist with special cleaning projects and terminal cleaning as needed

- Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisory staff

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Previous experience in environmental services, custodial work, or healthcare cleaning preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
